Honduras is a predominantly mestizo nation, reflecting centuries of blending between Indigenous and Spanish heritage, alongside smaller populations of Indigenous groups such as the Lenca and Miskito, Afro-Honduran communities including the Garifuna along the Caribbean coast, and other minorities.
