A note on scope: AmericasPedia currently covers the Americas' 35 sovereign nations: the independent, UN-recognized countries of the hemisphere. Territories and dependencies (such as Guadeloupe, Martinique, the Cayman Islands, Puerto Rico, and others) aren't yet included. We may expand coverage to these places in the future; for now, this scope keeps our research and sourcing focused and consistent.
Caribbean
